Grand Finals started on Friday the 14th of July with the u16s and u18s batteling it out.

U18Girls division 2 Final was contested between the club team and St Andrews.   The first quarter was a tight contest before the club team pushed ahead and never looked back taking the game 41-16.   Chelsea Riffel was awarded Player of the Final

U18 Girls Division 1  Final was a hard fought battle between St Tereseas and St Andrews.  The game was a defence grind with scores kept low.  In the 4th quarter St Andrews broke through St Tereseas defence and piled on some easy points to take the game 34 to 19.   Elyse Ainsworth was awarded Player of the Final. 

U18 Boys Grand final was one of the closest games of the series with the game going right down to the final shot.   Kodi Wulff hit a critical shot with 10 seconds remaining in the game to put the Club Team up by 2.  Unfortunetly for St Tereseas they missed their 3 point attempt in the dying seconds and the Club team won the game 42-40.   Kodi Wulff was named Player of the Final. 

U16 Boys division 2 -  Noosa District High and Good Shepard Lutheran College (GSLC) made their Grand final debut for the evening and the game started at a fast pace with both teams getting points on the board.   In the 2nd half Noosa Distict defence got some critical rebounds and the team converted the possesions into points.  Noosa District went on to win 29-23.   Player of the Final was Jack Schoder.

U16 Boys Division 1 -   GSLC and St Andrews were the form teams of the season and the game was close with lead changes throughout.   Some big plays from St Andrews Player Conor Curtis was not enough to stop the GSLC combination of Brandon Fyffer's 3 point shooting and Sam Webster inside play.   GSLC got ahead in the last quarter and held on to win the game 34-30.   Player of the final was Sam Webster. 

Saturday Mornining saw our Junior u12s/ U14s compete for the championships.

U14 girls game was contested between St Tereseas and the Club team.   The game was a close affair with the lead changes throughout.   In the last 3 mins St Tereseas took the lead and never looked back beating the Club team 27-21

U14 Boys game was battled out between the form teams of the season with Sunshine Beach Primary making their first Grand final appearance.   The St Andrews team led the game from start to finish using their expreience to stay ahead.  Some inspired play from Sunshine Beach kept the crowd cheering and made for an entertaining game.   St Andrews won 49-32 and player of the final was awarded to Leon Zhan.

U12 Mixed -  What a battle the u12 mixed comp has had some very close games all season with the standard of the comp growing each week.  The grand final was played between Golden Thunder and Black Heat with lead changes throughout the match it came down to the last minute when Golden Thunder got ahead by 2 points and won the game 18 to 16 points.   Declan Fitzpatrick was named Player of the Final.
