Junior and Mini Hoops Head Coach Wanted
Noosa Basketball is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and energetic person to fill the role of Head Coach in the Noosa Basketball Mini Hoops Program and the u12/u14 Tuesday Training Program. Assistant Coaches are also sort and are encouraged to apply.
The Mini Hoops Program is an introductory program designed as an entry point for new basketball players aged 5 to 10 years old. The role of the Mini Hoops Coach is to present the Aussie Hoops program to participants in a fun and engaging manner. Coaches will be provided with the resources and plans prior to the commencement of the season.
The coach will also run the Tuesday afternoon training program designed to provide our u12s and u14s with fundamental skills to become better basketball players.
The position would be ideal for a high school student currently playing basketball who would like to earn a bit of pocket money whilst contributing to the sport they love. The hours of work are currently set for:
Saturdays Mornings - 10.30 – 11.30 Mini Hoops
Tuesday Afternoons - 4pm to 6pm U12 and U14 Trainings.
It is expected that the coaches prepare session plans prior to the on court sessions.
