KBF First Tournament for 2008
The kiribati Basketball Tournament is hosting its first tournament for 2008 which is opened on the 2nd of February this year. The Team are categorised as Division 1 , Division 2 and open division for women. All teams on South Tarawa are registered in this game which total up to 48 teams altogether.
The KBF is still looking for interested companies to sponsor the tournament but that stil in the hand of the Kiribati Basketball President Mr.Naunta.Taatu to work on it evethough the league has already started.
As Kiribati is now having a new Sport Complex most of the matches are conducted inside the complex every Wednesdays and Saturdays of the week until finished in Mid march 2008.
As it is the first kick for KBF this year , the federation is looking forward to finish this tounament with good and and happy ending.
The Federation decided to give only a cash price for this tournamnet.
