Jon Hoyle to visit Solomon Island

The Oceania Basketball Confederation will be sending its Zone development officer Mr. Jon Hoyle to Solomon Island as part of its ongoing development to the pacific island countries, especially here in Solomons.

Jon is not new to the Solomons, he has been here several times in the past, conducting basketball courses in Honiara and also in the provinces. The trip is made possible with the assistance of the Oceania Basktball Confederation.

Jon will basically conduct coaching course for Teachers and Students, Sport Medicine, striping, sports administration and also meet with Solomon Island Basketball Federation to review their yearly plan.

The Solomon Island Basktball Federation would like to thank its mother body (OBC) for its ongoing assistance towards the development of basketball in our country, and wish them well in their endvour to promote the sport we love.
