The National Olympic Committee of Solomon Island had help the Solomon Island Basketball Federation in staging its basketball youth championship which is currently under way in the capital. The youth development program is part of NOCSI youth sports development program in the country yearly. The NBDO had organised Junior high schools and primary schools in and around Honiara and took part in the championship, which had started monday 27th October to 5th November. The championship had attracted alot of young kids, which they involved in playing, refereeing and organising of games. The SIBF would like to sincerely thanks NOCSI for its on going support for the development of basketball in our country.
