CBSI has proved themselves again in the inter bank basketball competition.

They have easily won all their games in their pool and played their semi against last year runner up which is OFI.

 ANZ who came 3^rd last year has shown some improvement this year as they defeat OFI during pool play and sitting top in their pool. They played their semi against BSP and for the first time advanced to the grand final.

The grand final was a very tough game as both team equally playing good offence and defence with close margin score throughout the 20 mins. ANZ have dominate the game in the first half (10 mins) which saw the half time score at 9-8 to them. They came back in the second half maintaining their lead into the 18 mins. CBSI noticed that they will lose the game and call a time out in the last 1 min 40 sec; they came back into the game with a man to man defensive strategy which caught ANZ off guard that causes a lot of turnovers. CBSI play maker who was a National rep using his dribbling skills to penetrate through the ANZ defensive wall  and scoring six points to get them up in the last 20 seconds.ANZ fought back to get them up again but CBSI played good defence and seeing them cheering in the final buzzer with the final score at 17-13.

On the other hand OFI easily defeat BSP to scope the 3^rd place.

The organiser has acknowledged my presence for helping get the game running which last for two days.
