Easter 3 on 3

The 3 on 3 have attracted few surronding community at White River school to come and watched it. We held it on the Easter Monday and about 12 Teams registered to join the competition. I have worked along with Mr Fa'a Topue to secured the Prizes from the same Ministered who have also sponsored the Pre-session competition organised by the Solomon Islands Basketball Federation Mr Hon. Namson Trans. He is the Minister for the West side constiteuncy for Honiara.

Most players who plays in that competitions are new to adobt the 3 on 3 rules so me and Fa'a just let the game play and brief them as we go along. A by stander has said that the game is so interesting to watch and have sudgest that players should be fit to be able to play this game because of the small room to operate and the man to man defense.

Gree Tree, a Team made up of Marist players have won the competition walking away with $2000 after narrowly defeating the Blazers by 14-13. Blazers got the second prize of $1,500 and the Bullets from the White River Community scope the 3rd prize of $1000 defeating the second Team from Blazers. The Players were very happy with the Prizes because the registeration is only $10 per player and a team of only 4 players.
