QQQ HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
Students had utilised their 1 week break to compete against each other during a basketball championship organised by the Solomon Island Basketball Federation on the 20th to 24th September 2004. The High school championship is part of the SIBF yealy plan and it also go along with Jons coaching courses with Teachers and Students this week and last week.
The High school Basketball championship is proudly sponsored by QQQ Holdings Ltd. QQQ Holdings had been very instrumentle in helping the development of basktball in the country for the last 5 years. 7 Schools had took part in the organised competition, 7 boys team and 4 girls team. The competition was started on a very low standard as most students had just played in a organised competition and as the competition was going on during the week, they had improved alot especiallly the boys. The competition was conducted by students on officiating and benches. The SIBF would like to sincerely thank the QQQ Holdings Management for their ongoing support to the development of basketball in our country.
