The National Basktball Development Officer had donated balls and rule books on behalf of the Solomon Island Basketball Federation to the President of Makira/Ulawa Sports Association Hon. Noel Mamau at NOCSI office. The donation is part of the ongoing development program of the federation in the provinces, the equipments had been supplyed by the Oceania Basketball Confederation to Island countries, especially here in Solomon Islands as part of its ongoing development plan in the region. Similar assistance had been given to Goldie College last month during the NBDO visit to the college. The President of the MUSA would like to sincerely thanks the SIBF and OBC for its generous support as it will boost the development of the newly introduced sport in the province, and also it will part of its preparation towards the 2006 Solomon Games which will be host by them.
