President Resign
The President of Solomon Island Basketball Federation Dr. Cyral Pitakaka had resign from the committee. The purpose of his resignation from from the committee is because from the controvesial prizes that was supposed to gave to KGVI High school during the AJS High Schools championship last month. The SI Basketball federation in its meeting last month had decided to return the prize to KGVI high school, instead of Betikama who was the runner up of the championship.
The SIBF met last week and elect its new President Mrs. Freda Matangi, she was on a vice - president post and now she was appointed to take over on the President post and Jerry Pakivai to take the Vice President post and Lapule Haro as the new Secretary of the Federation.
