Nonu Girls still hold shield

The Nonu Girls came into this competition with minimal match practice under their belt having not contested June's Independence Day Tournament. But this is yet to affect the side as they continue their demolition of all teams in the womens competition. In this weeks game, they took on a confident Bright Star outfit who had been in great form in their past 2 outings, recording 2 very impressive wins. Unfortunately their run finished last night as the Nonu Girls ran them ragged and recorded a comfortable 27-12 win to retain the SBL Womens Shield.
