Today's clinic was attended by 9 eager participants. The aim behind the trial clinic was firstly to introduce basketball to a new group of kids and secondly to get an idea of how the surface would play. In turn this would also allow us to gain an idea on what age groups the upcoming competitions should focus on. The kids who came along ranged in age from 7 right up until 16. Definitely a good cross section with which to make a decision. The next clinic will be held next week. Based on the excitement of the kids who came today and the media exposure we've had, we are expecting more kids along, which of course all means well for Samoan basketball
