United Kingdom Sports Initiative workshop
The UK sports Initiative workshop commenced on September 21st and concluded on October 4th. Mr. Rex Stevens of Dreams and Teams conducted the workshop.
The aims and goals of the program was to provide training in team building, management, organizing, roles and responsibilities, character building etc..for the various PE teachers, SDO's and selected school students on how to organize and conduct sports festivals, Physical Education training and the importance of sports programs including fun activities relating to cultural norms to the community.
Eventhough the program had an intense and rigorous schedule which included Saturdays and Sundays, everyone enjoyed the workshop and got an excellent dose of kwowledge from the training. Special recognition to Palau National Olympic Committee President Frank Kyota and Secretary General Baklai Temengil and the Ministry of Education Chief of school management Sinton Soalablai for organizing a very successful workshop.
