Team Guam checks in, New Zealand

Led by GBC Secretary General Tony Thompson, Men's Coach EJ Calvo and Women's Coach Sid Guzman, Team Guam Men's and Women's National teams have arrived safely in New Zealand for the 2013 FIBA Oceania Pacific Championships.

Both Teams bring a wealth of experience in international play as they had the opportunity to compete in the East Asian Games held a month ago. The Women's first game will be on Thursday Nov. 28. they will be facing the always strong Oceania Powerhouse Australia. Our Mens Team will be facing Tahiti tomorrow as well.

In our Pool for the Men's is Tahiti, Australia and Papua New Guinea. the Women's Pool is Fiji, New Caledonia and Australia. To see the live results during the games and schedule visit the FIBA Oceania Website at www.fibaoceania.com .
