The Box Hill Hawks have been bundled out of the FOXTEL Cup, suffering a two point defeat at the hands of West Perth.
Despite a spirited second half, where the Hawks took the lead early in the final term, they were unable to maintain their lead despite opportunities late in the game.
James Sicily sparked the Box Hill revival in the third term with three goals, but West Perth were able to take a two point lead into the final term.
Two goals by Ben Ross in the final term were not enough to get the Hawks over the line.
Williamstown remains the only VFL side in the FOXTEL Cup, and they face Aspley at the MCG on Tuesday May 20.
