North Ballarat coach Gerard FitzGerald was pleased with his side's effort in its close shave against Collingwood.
The Roosters snuck home by five points in a closely fought contest at Visy Park on Saturday.
While admitting the Roosters were "exposed for pace" by the "highly-tuned" Magpies, FitzGerald was pleased with his team's tenacity in the clinches.
"We've come back from a belting to be two (wins) from three (games)," he told The Ballarat Courier.
After successive away wins, the Roosters are again on the road this Sunday - they host Bendigo in a regional country showdown st Stawell.
