Last weekend’s first live video stream trial in the Peter Jackson VFL attracted over 4,500 views, with plenty of supporters giving positive feedback to the new initiative.
After a successful trial last week covering the Sandringham versus Collingwood match, Peter Jackson VFL live video streaming will return this weekend to cover the Sunday clash between the Northern Blues and Werribee Tigers from 1:50pm.
The two camera broadcast – which last weekend had viewers in over 19 countries around the world - will bring VFL fans a 10 minute pre-match preview of the clash, will provide play by play coverage of the game and will see boundary riders provide insight into what the coaches have to say at the breaks, as well as post match player interviews.
Only 14 points separated the Northern Blues and Werribee Tigers when they last met in round 9, with Werribee currently sitting just one game off top spot on the VFL Bailey Ladders ladder in fourth spot and the Northern Blues in 10th.
Werribee will be aiming to try and consolidate their top four position with two rounds to go, having not finished the home and away season with a double chance since 2008.The Blues claimed the scalp of then ladder leaders Casey Scorpions a fortnight ago, and will be keen to try and dent the Tigers double chance possibilities this weekend.
Carlton and North Melbourne supporters can tune in to see the current and future stars of their respective aligned sides take to the field, with the Northern Blues (Carlton) last week seeing David Ellard, Luke Mitchell, Nick Duigan and Paul Bower take to the field, whilst Werribee (North Melbourne) boasted Ben Warren, Ben McKinley, Levi Greenwood and Majak Daw.
Both sides boast a number of up and coming VFL talent of their own, with names like Kane Lambert, Adam Marcon, Kyle Hartigan and Scott Sherlock names to look out for on the weekend.
The broadcast kicks off at 1:50pm Sunday, with the first bounce at Visy Park at 2pm.
