The NAB Northern Bullants take on Geelong this Saturday at NAB Oval Preston. The match is crucial to the Bullants' finals hopes as the club currently sits on 9 wins equal with Geelong and only two wins ahead of Sandringham sitting just outside of the eight.
The match is also billed as the Bullants' very own Green Round match having followed the AFL's lead in using this weekend to promote sustainable living. In particular the Northern Bullants in conjunction with key partner Metlink would like to encourage all fans to get to the game by public transport. In support of the day Metlink and the Bullants have extended their Metcard deal and will admit anyone free who presents a valid Metcard (usually capped at first 100).
SKM Recycling and the City of Darebin will also get involved in promoting sustainable living on match day. The NAB Northern Bullants actively support the City of Darebin's Going Places program and are ambassadors for the Live with LESS project.
