The 2014 NAB AFL State Draft Combine kicks off Saturday at Etihad Stadium with nine Peter Jackson VFL players among the 50 players to be tested from Victoria, NSW and Queensland.
Four clubs will be represented - Coburg, Essendon, Frankston and Williamstown - with players aiming to impress recruiters from AFL clubs that will be in attendance.
Last year the likes of Ben Brown (Werribee) and Chirs Cain (Port Melbourne) were invited to Combine, with Brown finding himself on North Melbourne's list at the end of last year.
Across the day the players - Adam Marcon, Jake Owen, Jack Johnstone (Williamstown), Adam Saad, Michael Hartley (Coburg), Shannon Taylor, Nic Newman (Frankston) and Daniel Coughlan, Sam Tagliabue (Essendon) - will be put through a number of tests, including the 20m sprint, 3km time trial and the beep test.
