The ABC and AFL Victoria have announced the first four games that will kick off the TV coverage of the Peter Jackson VFL for season 2012.
Round one will see the Coburg Tigers begin the coverage like they did in 2011, but they will be hoping for a better first round result against the Northern Blues, after they were overrun in the first round last year by Sandringham in the dying stages of the game.
Round two will see the ABC team head out to North Port Oval to see Port Melbourne unfurl their 2011 premiership flag against fellow 2011 finalist Werribee Tigers. It will be a big year for both clubs as they take part in the Foxtel Cup.
Collingwood versus North Ballarat will be the round three broadcast game, with the Roosters keen to atone for their round 5 defeat at the hands of the Magpies in 2011.
Rounding out the first four games of the season will be 2011 finalists North Ballarat and Williamstown going head to head at Eureka Stadium. The Seagulls will be hoping to turn the tables of the Roosters after two defeats against them in the 2011 home and away season.
The ABC coverage returns to Saturday afternoons from 1pm on Saturday March 24.
Please note that the game starting time for all four matches has been changed to 1:10pm due to the ABC TV broadcast start time of 1pm.
