The Werribee Football Club is seeking a naming rights sponsor for its picturesque home ground, Chirnside Park.
For the last three years, the Tigers home ground has been known as Bartercard Oval but due to the global financial situation, Bartercard has downgraded its sponsorship at the club.
"While that is disappointing, it does open up a massive opportunity for a new player to enter the game," Werribee CEO Mark Penaluna said.
"VFL football gains coverage through television, radio, newspapers both statewide and local papers and through the AFL Victoria website and websites of all clubs plus footy chat rooms all refer to the Tigers home ground using the naming rights sponsor name.
"This is an incredible opportunity to promote your brand in a unique way which will enhance business prospects in a volitile economic situation. Your brand will have a distinct advantage on your competitors."
Penaluna described the Werribee Football Club as "an icon of the west" with a base in the City of Wyndham - one of the fastest growing areas in Australia - and reach into Geelong.
"The Werribee Football Club is the most progressive in the VFL boasting a football structure modelled on AFL clubs," he said.
"The naming rights to Chirnside Park gives enormous benefits to your company through all forms of media and with footy fans."
