BILLY Swan figures he can't lose on Sunday's VFL grand final between Port Melbourne and Williamstown at Etihad Stadium.
Swan played in premierships for both clubs - four at Port and one at Willy, when he famously found distance on a bad-spinning drop punt to sink Springvale in the 1990 grand final.
He also attended both clubs' jumper presentations this year.
But Swan admits he would love to see the Borough win on Sunday.
He played in Port's last premiership, in 1982.
"I probably can't lose, can I?" he said this morning.
"But to be honest with you, I hope Port win. To me, because of their alignment with Footscray, Williamstown aren't Williamstown.
"Port are on their own, they've won every game; it would be a bloody travesty if they got beaten.
