From the warm and enthusiastic welcome by Hugo T Armstrong to the last number by sensational keyboard player Damon Smith and Adam Coad in Carriage C, the evening was Fun with a capital F. Performances from Miss Lizzy and the Night Owls, Jimi Hocking, Jules Boult and Eddy Boyle also kept us rocking as we rotated through carriages chugging across the Bellarine Peninsula.
If you've never been on the Blues Train then you should! Get a group of friends together, stay locally and enjoy performances from an array of amazingly talented musicians. To see people of this calibre close up in such an environment is a real treat. Either stay seated throughout, stand and gently tap your feet or follow the example of Commodore Lee and dance like no-one is watching.
Thank you Hugo T and everyone connected with the Blues Train for creating such a memorable evening.
