The 57th Annual General Meeting of Queenscliff Cruising Yacht Club will be held at the QCYC clubhouse at 13:00 on Sunday 20th October 2019 and will be preceded by the main Working Bee of the year (commencing at 08:30). Morning tea will be provided during the Working Bee and the AGM will be followed by a barbecue.
Whilst this maybe perceived as a break from the tradition of holding the AGM at the home club of the incoming Commodore, QCYC is in fact the home club of our new Commodore Chris Laker. By holding the AGM immediately after the Working Bee it is hoped that as many members as possible will be able to attend both events.
The first notice of the AGM is available here.
Members are encouraged to nominate for vacant positions on the Committee. In particular, the positions of Vice Commodore and Rear Commodore will be vacant. Unfortunately the member who had recently stepped forward as Honorary Secretary is unable to continue and that position will also be vacant. There will also be vacancies on the General Committee.
QCYC is a volunteer club run by members. With additional members volunteering to assist the Club at all levels, especially the Committee, the Club can continue to run successfully into the future. If you wish to discuss any of the positions, please contact either Commodore Richard Lowe (0412 175196) or Vice Commodore Chris Laker (0418 521199).
More details will be available nearer the time. Please add the date to your calendar.
