Congratulations to Mal Billings, Peter Geary and crew on board Uluwatu who were victorious in the HMAS Goorangai Memorial Trophy Race on Saturday 3rd November. This was their second victory, having also won the trophy in 2012.
The race was started off Royal Brighton YC at 09:30 by Club Captain Michael Phelan and was sailed in a strong westerly reaching 25+ knots with arrivals at QCYC soon after 13:00.
There were six starters. Second was Boomaroo (skipper Tom Hinton) with Serifa (Michael McTavish) and Imagine (Chris Laker) sharing third place. Dreamcatcher and Boots completed the fleet.
