Penrith & Districts Basketball Association has an enormous passion for basketball and the Penrith community. We love to share our  passions by providing the community with the best basketball programs we can offer. With a steadily growing grassroots program, more and more juniors are becoming more interested in ‘having a go’ and playing basketball in all age-groups. This creates more opportunities for aspiring coaches to lead and mentor new juniors in our game. We welcome coaches as young as 14 (under a mentoring program) to coach and develop players within our Learn 2 Play (Aussie Hoops) program, Under-8s competition, U10s and U12s club competitions. There are still plenty other opportunities for coaches to expand their coaching talents, through:

1. Coaching in our Aussie Hoops program,
2. Coaching a Junior Club team in our Local competition (U8s through to our U18s competition),
3. Coaching in a Primary School during and after School time through our fantastic School Clinics and
4. Coaching in our Representative Program for Penrith & Districts Basketball Association (Head Coaches & Assistant Coaches)
