If you would like to coach a team, are interested in learning & are happy to volenteer your time then you have come to the right place. 

All coaches at Macarthur Basketball are expect to have at minimum completed the IOS "COMMUNITY COACHES COURSE" which is equvalent to a level 0 entry course with BNSW.  As a coach you are also required to supply us with your valid volenteers working with children number & expiry.

If you are intersted in coaching Representative Level teams you are expected to have the above & need to complete the Level 1 course with Basketball NSW.

NB: You must complete level 0 (community coaches course) & coached for reasonable time before you can do level 1 (Club coaches course)

If you are not sure on the pathways you need to speak to us to ensure you have the correct information for you to achieve your goals.

We are aiming to provide good quality coaches at all levels at our association and we are sure with your help this can be achieved.

We expect our coaches to always be fair & to be positive role models to our players.
