Are you an eperienced power boat driver looking to give something back ??
Hosted by Royal Perth Yacht Club
We'd love you to come and help out at Sailability WA to drive either a motorised pontoon for the Sailability high support program - Thursday mornings or a Support RIB on Wednesdays mornings (boat induction given but an RST is a must). We can help you get your RST if you are keen to do so by working with RPYC.
To give more people with disabilities the opportunity to experience the freedom and pleasure of being out on the water, a vessel called the 'Nev Thomas' (a floating roll on/roll off pontoon) is available and operates on Thursday mornings and for special events.
To skipper you must have a Recreational Skippers Ticket (RST) but a full driving induction is provided. If you have a free Thursday morning and would like to assist in the Sailability program, by driving the pontoon pictured, or RIB please contact:
Lou Chambers, Sailability Co-ordinator, Mob: 0404 145 499,
Email: email@example.com. Sailability season runs October to April.
