WAIS Wheelchair game on Saturday

The WAIS High Performance Program and their athletes play a demonstration game of Wheelchair Basketball as a curtain raiser to the Zambrero Willetton Tigers NBL1 game at 7pm. The athletes on show are about to fly out for a preparation camp and games in QLD in which they hope to be selected for the Australian Oceania Qualifying Tournament in Thailand in May this year. This tournament will see teams from this zone qualify for the World Championships in Dubai in November this year.

This is a great opportunity for the athletes to prepare themselves for this camp and the games coming up. It is also a great reward to play in front of a crowd and show their great game off after some hard work in the gym and on court.

WAIS / BWA expects to fill at least 8 or more spots on both teams rosters at both AOZ QT and the World Championships later this year too.
