WBA Hospitality Coordinator Job Advertisement 

Willetton Basketball Association Inc. are seeking an experienced hospitality professional who can bring a strong work ethic to lead the hospitality team in the State’s largest and most progressive basketball club. YOUR NEW ROLE
The role is responsible for the management of the Willetton Stadium Café and Bar facilities to achieve financial plans, profit margins and business growth, while building Club brand and exceeding the expectations of our patrons and customers.

The role requires effective leadership, strong interpersonal skills, planning and a history in food preparation and hospitality management in order to oversee and manage all aspects of the operations of the Café and Bar facilities at Willetton Stadium (WS).

Management of staffing activities, inventory and stock, menu development, F&B management, liaison with suppliers/contractors and excellent customer service are essential to drive growth and revenue within this important area of the WBA.

The role oversees every aspect of hospitality management and you will be a key person within the structure of the WBA.

ARE YOU THE ONE?

We are looking for someone with:

-          Tertiary qualifications and/or substantial experience in Hospitality or Café Management. Sports Club experience would be a bonus but is not required.

-          Experience in managing a team of FOH staff members (or volunteers).

-          A proven track record of meeting and exceeding customer expectations and a high level of customer service focus.

-          Strong communication and highly developed interpersonal skills, with a capacity for self-motivation and management.

-          Experience in driving growth and revenue to meet monthly financial objectives and KPI’s.

-          Experience managing budgets and financial processes is essential for this role.

-          Demonstrated leadership ability in a fast-paced work environment including the ability to juggle multiple priorities, whilst not lacking in attention to detail.

-          A current Approved Manager License and also current Responsible Service Alcohol Certificate (RSA) is essential to be considered for this role.

-          Qualifications in First Aid is desired but not essential.

-          Covid-19 full vaccination status in line with WA State Government legislation required for employment within the hospitality industry.

-          Conflict management, planning and negotiation skills are well regarded.
