Long-time Willetton member, Vic Regan passed away on the 25th August and his funeral was held today. He is survived by his wife Gloria and children Greg, Keeley, Michelle and Andrea. For many years Vic ran the Apollos club as well as being one of their coaches. In addition, both Vic and Gloria had the lease to run the Tigers tuckshop. Many will also remember Gloria from her time when she used to be Duty Manager on Saturday mornings. Son, Greg, played SBL for the Tigers and is one of our Player Life Members and daughter Michelle was SBL Administrator for a couple of years. Vic’s other two daughters, Andrea and Keeley have both continued their Dad’s tradition and have coached in our junior domestic competition.
Vic was last seen at Willetton at the early morning smoking ceremony on the day that the Stadium was officially opened. We pass on our condolences and best wishes to his family.
