Post-election stadium expansion update
While we are disappointed the WA Liberal Government’s recent pledge of funding towards our proposed expansion project will not materialise given the change of WA Government in last weekend’s, we do look forward to working with the new Labor Government in due course.
Ben Morton (Member for Tangney) remains committed to securing Federal funding for the project and we will continue to work with him in this respect.
The independent financial analysis of the expansion is almost complete and is looking very solid. It will be considered by the Board when completed and will add objective “weight” to the case for the expanded facility.
