Many people are aware of former and current Tigers players who are playing in Australia in the NBL and WNBL.

They include Wildcats Ben Hunt, Brad Robbins, Paul Rogers & Adam Caporn; Lynx players Melissa Marsh & Sue Williams; Sydney Kings' Cam Tovey; Canberra Capitals' Tully Bevilaqua; West Sydney's Liam Rush; Alan and Steven Black in Cairns and Rohanee Cox in Townsville .

Australian players have often taken up the call to the US and have been successful in the college basketball system. Tigers such as Matt Foster, Greg Regan, and Cam Tovey are examples of local players who were able to take advantage of oppurtunities in the US. Currently we have 2 Tigers SBL/WSBL players who are participating in American college basketball.

Zoe Harper is in her second year at the University of Minnesota and is this year averaging around 16+ minutes a game. Samantha Norwood is in her first year at Stony Brook University and is beginning to make an impact according to her most recent games.
