How did you use them during the games?
Before the games began, I wished I could just leave this group even if it has cool people in it. I was afraid and nervous. But as I try to work my way through the games, I learned that me and my teammates are not so different at all, and we had to work together as a team. This leads me to my first and third character strengths : Gratitude & team work. Honestly, this group taught me how to socialize well with other people and learned many things from/about them... and I am very grateful for that thanks to Edwina and Stephanie.
What were three great things that happened during the games? Explain why they were important to you.
Miss Edwina and her three girls (Alana, Molly, and Bec) from Australia came for the Micro Games. They really helped us out.
I made a lot of friends, not just from Pohnpei, but also from Australia. They've given me good memories to cherish.
I interviewed people from other states. I learned a lot about them.
How has being part of the United Youth Media(UYM) impacted you?
Being part of the United Youth Media has made me proud. It has been a very great pleasure being a part of something important. I didn't even know that I have the audacity to approach stranger and interview (talk to) them. This year's Micro Games has given me great experiences worth remembering.
What are your hopes for the future?
I hope this group of United Youth Media advance through the other Countries/States. I am more than grateful to ever join this group in the future.
