Combine Bushfire Appeal
The Chelsea, Mornington and Southern Peninsula Basketball Associations have come together to help raise much needed funds for the victims of the recent devastating bushfires.
To date, over 130 peoples lives have been claimed and 800 houses destroyed. It will take months, even years to rebuild the lives left behind.
The Chelsea, Mornington and Southern Peninsula Basketball Associations have come together to raise as much money as possible to help the Red Cross in what will be one of the most challenging undertakings in many generations. Through the 3 basketball clubs Big V Programs, games will be played between the clubs and all money raised will be directly donated to the Red Cross.
A few different things have been organised in how we can all help including Gold Coin Donations, BBQ's, Raffles and Auctions at all the games.
Mornington Distric Basketball Association have donation tins at the stadium that will be available every night of the week. Please be sure to make a donation at your next domestic game. But also make sure you get to some of these upcoming Big V games and donate as much as you can, whether it is through the Gold Coin Donation, a BBQ or the Raffles or auctions.
