NO ZONE U12 and U14- Mandatory Coach Clinics
MANDATORY NO ZONE COACHES CLINICS
From the commencement of Grading 2014/15, zone defence will not be permitted during and Under 12 or Under 14 VJBL game at any level.
All Under 12 and Under 14 coaches and assistant coaches are required to attend one of the Clinics organised by the VJBL listed below.
Yes it's mandatory but it's also worthwhile. Here is some feedback from Mornington coaches who attended the session on Sunday
"Just letting you know the No Zone Clinic was worth the effort. Some of the coaching tips will be invaluable for the season ahead."
"Had a good session learnt a lot. Drills were well explained and demonstrated, which we will be able to pass on to our players."
The remaining Under 12 and Under 14 No Zone clinics will be held on the following dates:
Sunday 16th November 2:30-4:00pm at Werribee Basketball Stadium
Monday 17th November 7:00-8:30pm at Box Hill Secondary College
The only exemption is for Coaches who attended the No Zone Clinics for the 2013/14 season, however it is recommended they attend as a refresher.
