On the back of a four game unbeaten winning streak to start the season Richmond footballers will take time out to visit Shepparton tomorrow as part of the AFL Goulburn Murray player appearance program.
Eight players will be in town on Tuesday 18 April to visit schools, run a multicultural coaching session and conduct a superclinic for local primary school children.
Over 450 local Grade 5 and 6 students will be involved in a super clinic at Kialla Park Recreation Reserve in the morning with the Richmond players teaching the art of kicking, handballing, marking and other fun activities before a question and answer session finishes the program.
After lunch the players shall visit some secondary schools to talk about leadership, training programs and the life of a being a professional sports person.
A further session after lunch will involve students from Sirius College and Shepparton English Language Centre (SELC) in a skill development session at Victory Park, St Georges Road.
