As part of the club’s final preparations for the start of the season Collingwood players will visit Mansfield on Wednesday 15 March as part of the AFL Goulburn Murray Player Appearance Program for 2017.
Over 300 children will participate in a massive superclinic at Mansfield Recreation Reserve in the morning involving students from St Mary’s Mansfield, Mansfield Primary School and Merrijig Primary Schools.
In the afternoon the players will split into two groups with half to attend Mansfield Secondary College and the other half will remain at Mansfield Recreation Reserve for a coaching clinic with Mansfield Primary School and Rudolf Steiner School students.
This AFL Player visit is part of the AFL Player Appearance Program which will involve seven AFL clubs and approximately 9,000 children across the Goulburn Murray this season.
