The Goulburn Murray’s leading coaches were honoured at the 29th Annual Goulburn Murray Coaches Association Annual Dinner held at Barooga Sports Club on Wednesday 5 October.
Carlton Development Coach and former Collingwood and Gold Coast player Josh Fraser was the key note speaker and discussed his football coaching journey and the key qualities of leading elite coaches he has worked with.
Goulburn Murray Coaches Association Chairman Greg Shannon acknowledged the regional nominations representing the high quality of coaches across the region.
"Once again the GMCA Annual Dinner profiled some of leading coaches and their outstanding performances across the season" he said.
"All of the coaches were nominated by their respective League and recognises attitude, knowledge, performance within their club and their commitment to ongoing learning."
"Each of the winners on the night will represent the Goulburn Murray at the AFL Victoria Community Awards night to be held on Friday 11 November at the Docklands which we are hoping to continue our fine tradition of regional winners being recognised at the State level."
