Ten of Melbourne Football Club’s playing list will be in Yea next Tuesday 23 June as part of the Goulburn Murray AFL Player Appearance Program for 2015.
Students from Yea Primary School, Sacred Heart Primary School, Highlands Primary School & Flowerdale Primary will have the opportunity to rub shoulders with the AFL stars and participate in a practical on field skill session as well as various fun activities in the morning.
Following lunch the players will visit Yea Secondary College where they will conduct on field sessions with junior level classes as well as conducting a session on training programs, nutrition, media and goal setting with senior secondary school students.
This AFL Player visit is the sixth and final for the Goulburn Murray region this year with previous visits to Seymour (Carlton), Broadford/Tatura (Essendon), Mansfield (St.Kilda), Nathalia (Nth Melbourne), and Barooga (Hawthorn).
