Sixteen players from the Carlton Football Club will disembark at Echuca next week as part of the Goulburn Murray AFL Player Visit Program for 2015.
The visit, to take place on Wednesday 10 June, will see players engage in a variety of activities in all of the Primary and Secondary Schools in Echuca and Moama.
Schoolchildren will spend some time with the players in small group skill development sessions, Question & Answer sessions, discussions around diet, nutrition and training and a session on the value of leadership.
Players will spread amongst the Echuca and Moama Primary Schools in the morning before speaking to senior students in the Secondary setting after lunch.
Students have been lucky that this is an annual event in the Echuca and Moama communities and the Carlton visit provides an excellent opportunity for the visiting Blues to promote their brand and foster new fans for the game.
Carlton will finalise the list of players attending pending any injuries after Saturday’s encounter with the Adelaide Crows.
