Valley Sport, in partnership with AFL Goulburn Murray are holding an Access All Abilities superclinic on Wednesday 18 June at Kialla Park Recreation Reserve as a precursor to the establishment of a Goulburn Valley team.
Following a successful feature match between the Echuca Moama Rockets and the Coburg Lions played under lights at Deakin Reserve, Shepparton on 31 May the clinic is a follow on session to promote the formation of a Goulburn Valley team.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who wants to be involved in the formation of an Access All Abilities AFL football team" commented Valley Sport’s Access All Abilities Project Officer Dean Pritchett.
"Cobram Specialist School, Connect GV and Shepparton Access have already booked in for the clinic. If you think you have what it takes or know someone that could be involved bring them along and enjoy the activities provided."
"We had a great response from the game between the Rockets and Coburg" added AFL Goulburn Murray Football Development Manager Greg Liddell.
"We have been working over the past couple of years in getting interest in establishing a team and this clinic will be a great launching pad."
