What is the Victory League?

The Victory League was introduced in 2013 as the new top tier of Tasmanian football.

It brings together the best players from across Tasmania to compete in a competition that is part of Football Federation Australia's PS4 National Premier Leagues structure to underpin the Hyundai A-League. Connecting Tasmania to the rest of the country in senior football.

It is a statewide league backed by A-League giants, Melbourne Victory. Eight Tasmanian clubs compete in the Victory League, five from Southern Tasmania, two from Northern Tasmania and one from the Northwest of Tasmania. The league has seen a significant rise in the standard of football and exposure for football in Tasmania.

The competing clubs are: South Hobart, Tilford Zebras, Olympia FC Warriors, Northern Rangers, Devonport City, Kingborough Lions, Glenorchy Knights and Launceston City.

The winner of the Victory League enters the PS4 National Premier Leagues Finals Series with the League champions from across the country.

The competition will resume in 2015 in March and is a 21 game season with the winner crowned as first past the post.

South Hobart have claimed the Victory League in 2013 and 2014.
