Inglewood United drew with Balcatta in their round 6 clash at Perth Plasterboard Centre Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Shubham Mokala opened the scoring in the first half for the visitors, while Milorad Vujacic equalised in the dying embers of the match.
United had the first big chance of the match when Samuel Riak put Steve Sokol through on goal, but Sokol’s effort was saved by the goalkeeper.
Balcatta soon had a chance of their own and Mokala opened the scoring after latching onto a rebound in the box.
Inglewood pushed for an equaliser and centre back David Cyrus’s thunderbolt from the edge of the box was agonisingly close, hitting the crossbar and the post before coming back into play.
Jamie Murphy’s terrible back pass was intercepted by Balcatta’s Alex Wild, but Wild was cruelly denied a goal after slipping as he rounded the goalkeeper, with Inglewood clearing the danger.
The hosts’ finally got the goal that they had been searching for when substitute Vujacic’s corner curled into the back of the net four minutes into stoppage time.
Neither side had time to launch another attack and the match ended as a draw.
