The International Federation for the sport of Swimming, FINA, has formally approved the 2011 Pacific Games Swimming competitions as a qualification event for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The Pacific Games Council welcomes this exciting news and the opportunities it will provide to the region's best swimmers as they prepare to compete in the upcoming Pacific Games in New Caledonia.
