On July 20-24 - IOC Women and Sport Seminar was hosted by Guam NOC and delegates from Palau were Baklai Temengil, Secretary General of Palau NOC, Frida Delmau, PNOC Board Member and Vice President for Palau Women and Sport Commission, and Villa Ngirailild, Secretary for Palau Women and Sport Commission. On July 24-26, Samoa NOC hosted the IOC Seminar on Sports and Environment and Palau NOC board member Carol Ngiraidis attended the seminar in Samoa. From July 29 to August 1 - Fiji NOC hosted the IOC Seminar on Olympic Values and Education Program, Ms. Frida Delmau travelled to Fiji right after the women and sport meeting in Guam representing Palau NOC. The Seminars are part of the ongoing development and training programs for IOC to all its members countries.
Prior to the Women and Sport meeting in Guam, the Oceania National Olympic Committee (ONOC) held its first Executive Meeting with President Mitchell and Secretary General Rick Blas in Guam on July 18th. Baklai Temengil, Secretary General of Palau NOC participated in this meeting as one of the member of ONOC Executive Board.
