WBC - Breeze head to Dunedin for Tournament number 2
Follow day one results from the second tournament of the Women’s Basketball Championship in Dunedin.
The host Otago Gold Rush started on the right track with a 75-30 win over tournament invitation team, South Canterbury, in the only morning game.
In later section A games, the Wellington Swish open against South Canterbury at 6pm and the Harbour Tournament winners, Harbour Breeze, play the hosts at 8pm.
In section B, NZ Academy meet the Waikato Wizards at 6pm, while Canterbury Wildcats, semifinalists at Harbour in June, play the Taranaki Trojans in the late game.
