Round 12 sees the top of the table clash between Byron Magpies & Lismore Swans at Schultz Oval Bangalow.
This season each has one win in their head to head clashes and on each occasion the Swans have started much better than the Magpies who have finished strongly. For Byron to win tomorrow they will need to overcome their slow starts which have been a worrying part of all their games this season.
Byron usually start to settle into finals football at this time of the season but Lismore's superior pace and fitness should see them take the points.
In the other game, Ballina Bombers are at home to the Tweed Coast Tigers. Ballina have struggled so far this year and new side Tweed Coast have performed extremely well having beaten both Ballina & Lismore in earlier games however these wins were on their small Pottsville ground. In fact three of their wins have been at home and the other was at Nimbin which is also a small ground by comparison.
Ballina played strongly in parts in their last game loss to Byron and if they can do that for four quarters on their big home ground it should be enough to win.
