Sea Lake Nandaly Tigers Vs Beulah
Sea Lake Nandaly Tigers will host Beulah in their match at Culgoa. In the last match between these two clubs, the Tigers had a strong win against the Blues beating them by 77 points. Sea Lake Nandaly Tigers’ match last week ended in a great win against Walpeup/Underbool. The Roos kept it close until the last quarter where the Tigers were just too good. Young gun Bill Barry was outstanding all match for the Tigers. Beulah had the bye last week. Their previous match was against Jeparit/Rainbow. The Blues kept a strong lead for three quarters but the Lakers made a comeback in the last quarter. Luckily, the lead that the Blues got in the first three quarters was too much for the Lakers. The Blues’ Steph Saunders was a key player for the team. Sea Lake Nandaly Tigers should account for Beulah in what will be a very close match.
Walpeup/Underbool Vs Hopetoun
Walpeup/Underbool will play at home against Hopetoun this week. The last time these two sides played each other, The Roos had a great win beating the Devils by 100 points. Walpeup/Underbool had a disappointing loss against Sea Lake Nandaly Tigers last week. The Roos kept it a close match until the last quarter where the Tigers too off. The Roos’ Matt Brown worked hard all game. Hopetoun’s match against Woomelang/Lascelles last week was quite similar to Walpeup/Underbool’s. The Devils kept a small lead on the Cats. It wasn’t until the last quarter when Hopetoun got away from Woomelang/Lascelles. Leigh Hutchinson was terrific for Hopetoun. Despite the loss, Walpeup/Underbool are still a strong side. They should win their match against Hopetoun.
Woomelang/Lascelles Vs Jeparit/Rainbow
Jeparit/Rainbow are playing away this week in their match against Woomelang/Lascelles. In their last match against each other, the Lakers booted 13 goals and 11 points defeating the Cats who kicked 1 goal and 5 points. Woomelang/Lascelles’ last match was against Hopetoun. The Cats stayed with the Devils for three quarter until the last quarter where Hopetoun kicked some vital goals. Royce Free was a strong player for Woomelang/Lascelles. Jeparit/Rainbow were leading against Ouyen United in their match last week. It wasn’t until the last quarter where the Demons showed how good they were kicking 6 goals to the Lakers 2 points. Jeparit/Rainbow’s Luke Werner played well all day. Jeparit/Rainbow should win their match against Woomelang/Lascelles.
