Glen Carrick has revealed on www.coburgtigers.com.au that he almost left the club after his 2008 season, spent flitting between the seniors and the reserves.
"Weighing up my options, I didn't think I was going to get a game. I was going to go back (to my former club Gisborne), but I ended up staying and I'm glad I did," he said.
"(Coach) Jade (Rawlings) said he could see me playing about 15 games, that's pretty much what got me to stay.
"This is the first year I have started in the ones. I'm pretty happy with my start and the teams start so far."
Carrick has played every game so far for the Coburg seniors, twice being named in the best players. To read the full article, visit www.coburgtigers.com.au
